Deadman #2 (z 6)
Description
Deadman #2 (of 6) – W. Maxwell Prince and Martin Morazzo continue an unconventional DC story where Boston Brand (Deadman) finds himself at the center of Gotham with a new, unexpected mission between the worlds of the living and the dead.
A rift in spiritual reality occurs in Gotham – a mysterious demonic force disrupts the balance of the afterlife, and Deadman, tasked by Rama Kushna, must investigate the incident in a city where crime and metaphysics merge into a chaotic system.
This issue further solidifies the series' direction into "supernatural noir" – a detective structure intertwines with absurd, philosophically strange elements, and Gotham becomes an epicenter not only of crime but also of spiritual anomalies.
Why read it?
- The second part of a 6-issue story arc.
- A unique interpretation of Deadman – more detective than traditional superhero.
- Gotham is presented through a supernatural and metaphysical lens.
- W. Maxwell Prince ("Ice Cream Man")'s strangely structured storytelling.
- Martin Morazzo's distinctive, stylized visual presentation.
